On Wednesday March 7th, executives at Gracie Productions issued a public plea for help, alleging that Rapper J-Kwon had not been seen by his loved ones since the beginning of February' This upset J-Kwon because it caused a media fuss  - he feels sorry for the scores of families who are really searching for missing relatives'

J-Kwon, real name Jarrell Jones, claims he had no idea about the search until he received concerned calls from friends, and is frustrated by critics' claims the incident was a publicity stunt, insisting he wasn't looking for attention'

He tells AllHipHop'com, "Things get taken out of hand' On top of that, there are other families that are really missing people and my heart goes out to them' I'm not trying to promote anything' I just prayed about it and moved on'"
